With Núcleo, or on top of the EHR you already run
VectorVida supports two adoption modes. If your institution needs a system of record, Núcleo is the electronic health record: the foundation where the single clinical record lives, aligned to NOM-024 and FHIR.
If you already have an EHR — or several that do not talk to each other — VectorVida operates as the second layer: interoperability, data protection and AI on top of the records you already run, without requiring you to replace the system clinical staff work in. Delta, Therion, Kronos and Gamma apply in both modes.

Frequently asked questions
- Is VectorVida an electronic health record (EHR)?
- Yes when you need one: Núcleo is VectorVida’s electronic health record. It can also operate as the interoperability, protection and AI layer on top of the EHR you already run — including Núcleo. The platform is not only an EHR.
- Do I have to replace my current system to use VectorVida?
- Not necessarily. If you adopt Núcleo as your EHR, yes — that is a change of system of record. If you already have an EHR, the platform connects over HL7 FHIR and in compliance with Mexico’s NOM-024; integration is the starting point.
- How is this different from adding an AI module to my current EHR?
- In the order of priorities. Before any data reaches a model, Delta de-identifies the patient information locally and leaves NOM-024 compliance evidence behind. An AI module bolted onto an EHR normally sends the clinical text exactly as it is, personal data included.
- What happens to my historical paper records?
- The Gamma module digitizes them. It turns paper, PDFs, Word documents and scans into structured FHIR records, de-identified and coded in ICD-10 and ICD-11, processing everything locally.
- Can I adopt only part of the platform?
- Yes. All five modules — Núcleo, Delta, Therion, Kronos and Gamma — run independently or as a full stack. Delta and Gamma in particular are designed to work on their own, with none of the others installed — including without Núcleo.
- Does VectorVida’s AI make clinical decisions?
- No. Therion proposes diagnoses and ICD-10 coding, and Kronos flags patterns and risk, but both operate as a copilot: every clinical decision requires a health professional’s validation and signature, and the suggestion is recorded alongside that validation.
